Here are the key features of the Neato Botvac D80

* LaserSmart mapping and navigation system scans and maps the room, plans, and methodically cleans – instead of bumping around.

gwsjr1 says:

The turds in the litter box where a nice touch of realism.

kenneth blevins says:

We have that vacuum and it is kinda noisy

Mariane Collins says:

Cool video! i have the Karmin Robot Vacuum 😉

ph2001 says:

This vacuum does not work if you have chairs, sofas etc. for it to work nothing has to be in the house… so what is the point then??. The blow air back hole lift all the dust it finds prior to vacuum. It has improved and this one does better the edges, yet truly the cleaning is not great.
Needs more battery life, and better sensors to tell the vacuum to know where to go back and recharge. My grade is D++ for the effort!

Menashe Hawkins says:

thanks for such a detailed video. i just bought thus vacuum tonight. its charging. i cant wait to watch it clean

Eric Hannes says:

I have the neato, my son has the roomba. The neato is FAR superior to the old bump technology that the roomba has! The roomba makes chaotic patterns on longer carpeting. The NEATO makes a nice even pattern on the carpet…..almost like a professional would. There is NO comparison!

Maria Mougenot says:

I had this robot and it is very noisy

Natalie Humphrey says:

what's the difference between the Neato d80 and the Neato d85?

bigman55434 says:

So is the D80 basically the exact same as the old XV-21, except they widened the dust housing, made the filter bigger, and changed out 2 battery packs in the XV-21 to one longer one in the D80? I know the suction fan is the exact same Delta Electronics part number in both fans. The brush roller is a different shape, too, along with the side brush being new. I bet the screen, navigation, suction power, wheels, laser, etc are exactly the same. I do think it was smart to make the filter bigger, as the smaller one on the XV-21 got clogged up pretty fast.

Kathy Maffei says:

I have a Neato Botvac 80 and recently purchased a Roomba 880. I only used Neato in my kitchen, dining room, and laundry room/bathroom. The rest of the house, it had to work too hard and it was always getting stumped on something so I had to vacuum it with my regular vacuum. The Neato was like watching a 2 year old and I had to get up constantly. My roomba is so much better. When I first had it up and running, I put it in the most complicated room that Neato couldn't do. The room has two tables, a free standing bar, 4 bar stools, and 2 lazy boy chairs and an end table. It went through the room like a hot knife through butter and I love it MUCH more than my Neato which I will keep for about 1/3 of my house. I thought it cleaned better as well. I'll be a Roomba customer from now on.

good review..well done

New Sigmund Freud says:

Do you have a latest Neato vs latest iRobot Roomba comparison?

Panos Hountis says:

Very good review. Exactly the type I am looking for before deciding what device to go for. Keep it up!

AudiophileTubes says:

VERY messy to empty, with all the dirt and hair stuck to the filter! On most vacs, you empty the dirt bin, and there is no visible filter dirt can get stuck on. In my opinion, a bad design.

Naoki Hikari says:

Hi! I would like to know if it also got a mopping feature?

Dhwani Rawal says:

Rivan Rawal

MagicGuitara says:

Hi, thanks for the review. what is the Duration time for full battery?

John O'Bryan says:

I had one of the first neato vacs and I ended up throwing it across the house. Stupid thing would not fully dock and go dead, battery errors, it would stop & quite right in the middle of vacuuming. It did do a good job of cleaning when it actually worked.

John Doe says:

This is Skynets first move.

Blarnix says:

Oh… and can I get your Skype? (If you have it)
